Kreegan Drops Anomaly 2-0 in CGS Training Camp Week 2

Posted by: MarkDolven

Andrew “anomaly” Brock played his second game under the Core banner tonight when he took on Kreegan of LA in CGS Training Camp action. Kreegan had first choice of team and selected the Brazilians with Anomaly choosing the English. The game started with some action right off the bat when Anomaly got a break away with England’s Rooney, but he was unable to capitalize as the shot flew over the net. After thirty-five minutes of the possession game, Kreegan finally broke the scoreless tie on the fortt-fifth minute with a goal from Kaka. He took this 1-0 lead into half time and the two players switched sides. In the second half, Anomaly continued to control the possession, but was unable to get any shots on goal. Just like his goal in the first half, at the sixty-sixth minute Kreegan was able to get a counter-attack breakaway and again he made sure he put it in the back of the net. The goal came from the legendary Ronaldinho this time around and it gave the Complexity striker a 2-0 lead. After more back and forth defensive action, this score held and Kreegan won the match. After all was said and done, the defensive battle saw Kreegan with only three shots on goal and Anomaly with only one shot on goal.

With the win, Kreegan improves to a perfect 2-0 in CGS Training Camp play and Anomaly falls to 0-2. Next week, Brock will look to rebound and start scoring some goals when he will face off against his former team, the Chicago Chimera. Their new FIFA player is none other than the combine champion, Eafra. Stay tuned for more information on this great match.

"Felipe played a great game all around. I had the majority of the possession in the game but was unable to capitalize on my chances. Felipe on the otherhand generated two longball breakaways that ended up in the back of my net."
