Heatwave, Philtk Win CGL 1v1 CS:S Back to School Battles

Posted by: MarkDolven

The first Counter-Strike tournament held by the College Gaming League, one of the CGS’s partners, has come to a close. In the West bracket, heatwave came back from the lower bracket to beat Hollywood twice to take home the championship and the Alienware laptop. Over in the east, the CGS’s very own nickn0iT fell just short in the finals against the relatively unknown Philtk. This CGL tournament was a 1v1 Counter-Strike Source tournament that took place on aim_map. The Core had devour and s0nNy compete, but they both fell just before the final four double elimination bracket. Congratulations to all of the winners!
