2008 Counter-Strike:Source Movie Awards Winners
The following is an excerpt from a newsletter recieved from SourceRadio.com
The 2008 Counter-Strike:Source Movie Awards were announced on March 9th, 2008 and have been created to honor and show appreciation to all aspiring and established movie makers. 11 categories were started for our first annual award show, and three weeks of voting took place. After three weeks, a total of 8,410 unique ballots were submitted by Movie Vault users from 139 different countries. After an agonizing post production disaster, we are finally ready to announce the winners of this years awards, as well as release our awards video which in my opinion, deserve an award of its own.
Planning an event on this scale took the skilled aid of over a dozen different people, the nominees were selected on a even scale of both user and staff review scores. With the number of ballots received and the diversity of the votes, we feel confident that these results are as accurate as one could expect, we would like to thank all movie makers for the time and effort they put forth to produce these films, as well as all our users for pushing us to maintain and continue development on The Movie Vault.
On June 1st, 2007 we will be releasing the public beta of the NEW! Movie Vault v3.0, we will continue development on this system throughout the summer. The new vault is loaded with unique features that our *cough* competitors, couldn't even imagine. So without further delay, I would like to announce this years awards winners. Make sure you check out the winners video, currently available in the vault.
